Noise Area NQ Futures.
Intraday Nasdaq futures. Minute noise bands, entries on a 30-minute clock, an ML keep/skip gate, then a trail and a daily-band target — flat before the cash close.
How a session trades.
Noise bands → 30-minute break → ML → size → trail or target → flat by 15:44 ET.
Noise bands
Each minute of the regular session has an upper and lower band from the last 14 sessions of that same minute, gap-adjusted off the open.
30-minute checks
Signals are only evaluated on a 30-minute clock, from 10:00 ET through 15:00. A close through the upper band is long; through the lower band is short.
ML keep or skip
A model scores the breakout before the order. Skip stays flat. Shorts can also use news NLP features from headlines already out before the decision.
Size and enter
Size follows a volatility target on MNQ or NQ. The stop is set from that risk. An opposite band break can flip the position.
Trail and target
The stop trails with the noise band and session VWAP. The target is a 3σ daily Bollinger band on prior session closes.
Flat by 15:44
A daily loss cap stops new risk. Anything still open is flattened at 15:44 ET. Nothing is held overnight.
